PIE FACE CONTINUES STATESIDE DOMINATION
Aussie pie shop to open third Manhattan location on February 19th
Pie Face, the 24-hour Australian pie shop, will open its third U.S. location near Penn Station (469 7th Ave) on February 19, 2013. Not only will this be the largest Pie Face in the U.S. at 1,800 square feet, it will also be the first dine-in concept, with 32 seats.
The new breakfast menu, designed with commuters in mind, includes the first ever Pie Face self-service coffee bar alongside the popular bacon, egg, and cheese Breakfast Pie. Pie Face will also debut five mini-quiches in their fresh-baked breakfast line-up: Spinach, Provençal, Sun-Dried Tomato & Goat Cheese, Broccoli, and Mushroom.
Of course the menu will also include the iconic savory pies, with adorable faces piped on top to denote their filling, along with mini sweet pies, like the best-selling Apple, Cherry, and Pear & Ricotta, sausage rolls, sandwiches, pastries, and Pie Face’s signature coffee program.
In honor of the opening, Pie Face will offer special discounts as well as other in-store promotions:
Pie Face Prize Wheel – When customers make a purchase at the new shop on Grand Opening Day anytime between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., they’ll get to spin the Pie Face Prize Wheel for a chance to win a free pie, Australian-roast espresso, or lamington (the classic Aussie cake).
Rush Hour Pie Patrol – Warm up your morning commute with a free hot savory pie. Pie Patrollers will be passing out free samples of the new savory breakfast pies in and around Penn Station.
